TITLE: Restaurant Supervisor
LOCATION: The Aerie
STATUS: Part-time or Full-time – evenings; Tipped Position
SCHEDULE: Evenings – 3:00 pm to close
Must be able to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays.
SUMMARYAs a Restaurant Supervisor, you will provide friendly, responsive leadership to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests. This supervisory role includes overseeing the flow of the dining room, assisting with guest interactions, managing staff, and ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant. You will assist the General Manager with all necessary tasks, particularly during closing shifts, to maintain high service standards.
WHAT YOU WILL DOGreet guests and ensure they are seated promptly, ensuring their experience is enjoyable from start to finish.Act as the maître d', managing reservations, guest seating, and the overall flow of service.Oversee the closing of the restaurant, ensuring all tasks are completed, and the restaurant is secured at the end of the shift.Assist the General Manager with supervising staff, ensuring they adhere to service standards and policies.Take quick and appropriate action to resolve any guest concerns or issues, ensuring a positive experience.Monitor the dining room to ensure cleanliness, organization, and that tables are properly set and cleared.Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate food and beverage delivery.Participate in staff training sessions, guiding the team on service techniques, menu knowledge, and restaurant policies.Adhere to Snowbird's policies and state regulations regarding responsible alcohol service.Assist in maintaining inventory levels for the restaurant, ensuring supplies are stocked and organized.Maintain effective communication between the FOH and BOH to ensure a seamless dining experience.Actively participate in achieving sales goals and promoting incentive programs.WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONEHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferred.2-3 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry, with supervisory experience preferred.Must be at least 21 years of age.Food Handler Permit, Tips Certification, Sheriff Work Card.Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle guest concerns professionally.Ability to multi-task and maintain communication with guests, servers, kitchen, and bar staff.Must possess a strong understanding of Snowbird operations and the dining experience.Must demonstrate proficiency in basic arithmetic for handling transactions.Experience with inventory management and a self-banking environment.WORK SCHEDULESpecific Shift: 3:00 pm - close, must be able to work any day of the week, including weekends and holidays. This position is responsible for closing the restaurant.
