Overview
The Restaurant Host is responsible for providing a professional and inviting first impression of the restaurant.
ResponsibilitiesYou will greet guests in a warm, professional, and timely manner and, after determining the size of their party and accounting for any seating preferences, will escort them to an appropriate table. You will pull out chairs for each guest and ensure that each has the proper tableware available. You will give a brief introduction to the provided menus and answer any immediate questions or concerns the guests may have. You will communicate and track any relevant guest notes or information received. You will answer telephones in a timely and professional manner to provide accurate information and make reservations, as needed. You will develop and implement a deep understanding of luxury service standards.
QualificationsMust possess exemplary verbal and written communication abilities.
Must be able to work effectively with a diverse population of both employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
