What will I be doing?
\n
As a Restaurant Manager, you are responsible for managing restaurant operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. A Restaurant Manager will also be required to manage, train, and develop team members and work within all budgeted guidelines. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nEffectively oversee and direct the restaurant in a smooth and operational manner.\nManage all staff members in the agreed standard of food service during shift.\nGuide and lead by example in all areas of restaurant conduct.\nLiaise and co-operate effectively with all other associated members of staff in relation to all aspects of the production and service of food.\nTrain and develop employees, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their duties.\nPromote the safe use of the restaurant, its equipment and building under the Health and Safety at Work acts, Hygiene and other regulations.\nTo ensure all staff are well briefed on the daily responsibilities and are given constant supervision and motivation on all aspects of their work\nTo notify your staff to all menu changes, specialties, event menus and changes to standards prior to the commencement of service\nRespond to any changes in the restaurant as dictated by the needs of the operations and the company.\nTo direct the setting up of the restaurant, ensuring all necessary work is completed prior to the commencement of service.\nTo ensure the restaurant’s operational budgets are strictly adhered to, all costs are controlled, and any expenditure approved.\nTo be aware of all relevant suppliers and their products and order accordingly as and when necessary due to business demand.\nTo ensure all department staff work hygienically and productively.\nWhat are we looking for?
\nA Restaurant Manager serving Hilton brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
\n\nPrevious Management and/or supervisory Food and Beverage experience; preferably with a luxury hotel background.\nStrong leadership skills and ability to communicate effectively with a diverse team\nAble to meet financial targets.\nFluent in English.\nAbility to comply with all Food and Beverage brand standards.\nWillingness to develop team members and self.\n\nIt would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
