Waldorf Astoria is looking for a Restaurant Manager to join the food and beverage team in Chicago's Gold Coast!
\nThis Forbes 4-Star property located in downtown Chicago has a Parisian-style charm with 214 rooms, 8,500 square feet of banquet space, and 3 food and beverage outlets. This includes a restaurant, cafe, and in-room dining.
\nIn this role, you will oversee The Brass Tack managing a team of 15+, reporting directly to the Restaurant General Manager, and assisting in the other two food and beverage outlets as needed.
\nThe ideal candidate will be an energetic leader with a talent for driving high standards, a passion for creating personalized experiences, and champions a positive culture. At least 2 years of food and beverage leadership experience in an upscale / fine dining environment is required. Prior experience in a union environment and luxury hotel are a plus.

\nShift: Various – must be available to weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
\nPay Rate: The annual salary range for this role is $65,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

What will I be doing?
\nAs the Restaurant Manager, you would be responsible for assisting the General Manager in managing daily restaurant operations in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nAssist in leading, directing and managing all restaurant operations including, but not limited to, restaurant budgeting and forecasting, strategic planning, implementing and complying with all company policies and brand standards, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, responding to guests inquiries and resolving concerns, and meeting participation and facilitation\nAssist in recruiting, hiring, supervising, training, assessing and evaluating, coaching and counseling and recognizing and rewarding department heads\nOversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction, standards compliance and service and financial measurement\nAssist in identifying operational performance, productivity and efficiency gaps and implementing measures to correct those deficiencies\nEnsure guest and team member satisfaction\nServe and act as Restaurant General Manager in his or her absence\nWhat are we looking for?
