The Dining Room by James Viles (One Hat) is a signature restaurant of Park Hyatt Sydney and are looking for Restaurant Manager that are looking to further career with Australia’s award-winning hotel.

We are searching for passionate individuals who are focused on exceptional guest experience as an Assistant Manager or Manager and are ready to bring their management skills and engaging personality to our signature restaurant.

About the Role

Ensure that The Dining Room operates successfully and in accordance with brand standardsWorks closely with the other Outlet Managers in a supportive and flexible manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel and the satisfaction of guests.Maintains positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.Handles guest enquires in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if there is no immediate solution and assure follow up with guests.To have a full working knowledge and capability to supervise, correct and demonstrate all duties and tasks in the assigned place of work to the set standards.Lead the team to high service and quality standards as well as supervise the standard of service provided by staffAssist with recruitment of colleagues provide on-boarding training.Maximise the effectiveness of employees by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching and/or mentoring.Salary Range: $75K ~ $85K

Current NSW RSA Competency CardSufficient experience in a fine dining restaurant or similar environment, experience in a Hatted restaurant is desirableStrong food and beverage service skillsStrong knowledge of wines and other beveragesExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsFamiliar with wine styles and grape varieties and other beverage itemsProficiencyin computer literacy skills
