The Restaurant Manager is responsible and accountable for administration, operation, and direct management of the Restaurant. This position reports to the Director of F&B.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

Develop and manage the business plan and budget for the Restaurant.Works in collaboration with both Asian Chef D ’Cuisine and Italian Chef D ‘Cuisine to successfully market, develop and manage multiple operations, including business plans, budgets, and staffing for multiple locations. Responsible for the oversight of the P/L report.Responsible for Guest Relations and online review reputation.Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food and drink as necessary.Manages areas of responsibility to enhance the gaming experience of guests, to make us the #1 gaming and entertainment venue.Develop staff to include training, interviewing for hires, conducts disciplinary counseling and performance evaluations. Review staffing levels to maintain a budgeted level of employment.Delegate authority and assign responsibilities. Review departmental status with Director of Food and Beverage and Executive Chef. Develop and manage programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.Meet with Directors and Managers as needed.

Ability to analyze and interpret restaurant operation results.Ability to solve complex problems.Ability to perform assigned duties under pressure.Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulations.A variety of task and deadlines requires irregular work schedule.Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive environment.

Accuracy in completing assigned duties in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

Preferred, five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in restaurant management and supervision in a fine dining facility.Preferred, four (4)-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience in a multi-outlet role.Preferred, two (2) to five (5) years of experience in management role within a sushi or Asian cuisine restaurant. You will be exposed to an alcohol and smoking environment and must be able to work in such environment. Must have the ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity as may be required to perform assigned duties, or as required by Live’s operating standards.

 

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work long hours.Ability to stand for long periods of times without sitting or leaning.Ability to climb stairs multiple times daily.Ability to handle multi-tasking-heavy work-exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and up to 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.Ability to climb, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms.Ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels.
