Job Summary:

The Restaurant To Go or Restaurant Takeout Delivery Runner is responsible for supporting all aspects, service and delivery of take out and catering orders.

Job Responsibilities:

Provides amazing hospitality experience to guests exceeding guests’ expectations while delivering orders by waking or bicycle.Demonstrates restaurant menu knowledge and the ability to recognize different menu items for delivery and to be able to answer questions regarding menu items, and types of services offered.Ability to place the orders through the point of sale (POS) system.Review and package items in appropriate packaging while adhering to all food safe standards for catering orders.Ability to load, unload, and performs set-up/tear-down of catering orders while adhering to all safety standards.Operates bicycle, follows route, and adheres to time schedule (also applies to walking).

Job Requirements:

Previous experience is not required – we will train you!Excellent customer service skills and etiquetteAt least 18 years of ageAbility to ride a bicycle or walk in all weather conditions for extended periodsMust be able to reach, bend, balance, and transport objects weighing up to 30 lbs. repeatedly during a shiftAbility to read a map or navigate various routesMust possess a current Food Handler’s Card, or must be able to obtain card, where applicableFlexibility to work a variety of shiftsAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-work environment
