Responsibilities

Provides respiratory care for residents who are ventilator dependent or with other pulmonary needs including weaning under the direction of the Pulmonologist.

Qualifications Graduate of an AMA approved program for respiratory therapy (1 year program)Appropriate experience in all aspects of respiratory careNYS Department of Education License as a Respiratory Therapist TechnicianRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRTT)Current BCLS certificationComputer skills sufficient to use excel, outlook, CPOE, touchscreen, EMAR, ETAR, etc. Knowledge and use of clinical practice guidelines and best practices Min USD $27.01/Hr.
