We are seeking a R&R ECE Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator (PC) is primarily responsible for the successful achievement of desired results in alignment with Crystal Stairs' strategic plan by providing effective leadership and direction for the delivery of Quality Start Los Angeles (QSLA) Program, Child Care Initiative Project (CCIP), Resource Center, Early Childhood Educators (ECE) Professional Development Trainings, Provider Caf\u00e9s, and other specially funded projects for the R&R Program. The PC manages a team of R&R Supervisors and coordinates activities in support of the delivery of R&R Services. Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the PC will be responsible for compliance with related fiscal and programmatic requirements within and between Crystal Stairs and partner agencies and organizations. \nRESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nWork with R&R Program Manager to plan, administer and monitor programs, specific grants and projects to ensure contract and budget compliance.\nOversee the coordination and support staff in the implementation of the QSLA, CCIP, Resource Center, ECE professional development trainings, Provider Caf\u00e9s, and other special projects. \nIdentify, cultivate, secure and sustain child care provider partnerships to keep informed of stakeholder activity and agency activity, inform program resources and collaborations.\nOversee the timely submission of invoices and required reports to ensure that necessary records, files, and other materials are maintained for efficient conduct of business and audit requirements.\nComply with contractual requirements and agency policies and procedures as well as assist in data collection and\/or analysis to evaluate and\/or enhance program operations and client services.\nOversee the procurement of goods and services in adherence to agency policy and procedures. \nRepresent program and agency at professional organizations and contract, partner and\/or community meetings; participate in work groups, committees and ad hoc groups, as necessary.\nSupervise and monitor department personnel including hiring, orientation, training, mentoring and motivating staff. \nProvide direction, leadership and coaching to staff members by conducting periodic check-ins and performance reviews. \nOther duties as assigned by R&R Program Manager and\/or Senior Management.\n\n

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: \n\nBachelor of Arts\/Science degree from an accredited college or university in Child Development, Early Childhood Education or related Human\/Social Services field; relevant work experience in human\/social services or child development may be substituted for college level education; Master's Degree a plus.\nMinimum 2 years supervisory and project management experience is required. Minimum of two to three years related experience in early childhood education, child development or working with children in special needs settings. Experience and ability to work with adult learners and diverse client populations. Experience planning, implementing, and coordinating major projects and trainings that require collaboration with diverse groups and coordination of their interests and resources.\nKnowledge of developmentally appropriate practices and strategies for children birth to 12 years of age; \nFamiliarity with various ECE curriculum and assessment tools; \nAbility to implement and assess program objectives and outcomes; \nKnowledge of California's public and private child care delivery systems; \nExperience with planning, implementing, and coordinating projects; ability to understand and communicate demographic, child care service and related data and research; as well as the ability to work effectively with parents, child care providers and community service organizations. \n\n
