Resolution Planning Lead (Hybrid)
Overview This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office. The Resolution Planning Program Manager will work in a highly visible team within Treasury, interacting with senior and executive management as well as regulators. This position will be responsible for contributing to all aspects of the Bank’s Resolution Plan development, facilitating data gathering and analysis across a large number of subject matter experts and leaders within various business lines and developing, reviewing and approving content for the annual submission. This will involve understanding and explaining the Bank’s material businesses and operations, and its financial and operational interconnections and dependencies. Role requires strong problem solving and organization skills, in addition to expertise in consuming, authoring, and providing critical review of complex documents. Involves significant interaction with stakeholders and ability to facilitate and lead discussions to identify actionable results. Responsibilities Program Execution - Provide subject matter expertise to develop First Citizens Bank’s Resolution Plan in alignment with regulatory requirements. Business Strategy - Partner with key leaders across the organization to understand existing internal capabilities and identify enhancement opportunities. Develop and execute on roadmap to ensure sustainability of Resolution Planning process. Data Gathering and Analysis – Gather and aggregate data; conduct financial analysis as needed. Reporting - Prepare and present reports summarizing results and processes to senior and executive management. Regulatory – Prepare materials and respond to regulatory requests related to the Resolution Plan. External Environment – Monitor industry changes and peer practices for Resolution Planning. Operates as a subject manner expert for resolution planning, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a high technical level Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of experience in financial services industry OR High School Diploma or GED and 12 years of experience in financial services industry Experience with resolution planning and/or treasury for a large financial institution required.
