The individuals are assigned and monitored based upon individualized safety levels of observation. The primary goal for the individuals is to stabilize the self-harm/at-risk behavior through DBT Skills application. The staff will receive training and on-the-job support to help implement DBT Skills and DBT skills review with individuals. The RCP will train and support Independent Living Skills with the individual served in the residence, monitor, and document general activity and progress made of these at-risk individuals. Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff. Assists with daily living activities at the person's home, in a daytime non-residential facility or a residential facility. Observes and monitors client's behavior and charts observations and incidents. Provides training of basic personal and social skills, simple academics, or work skills to consumers/students in a state school, hospital, juvenile detention facility, residence, group home, workshop, or supported employment environment. May assist with meal preparation, ensuring or encouraging client group activity, providing transportation, and/or limited case management.
