Position Summary
The Residential Property Administrator, reporting to a Residential Property Manager, supports their residential property management team’s portfolio of multi-family properties with day-to-day community operations and performs various administrative functions to allow residential operations management team members to achieve the goals and objectives of their assigned portfolio of communities. The Residential Property Administrator is responsible for providing courteous, prompt, and efficient service to all prospects, residents, vendors, and guests of assigned communities.

Essential Functions

Consistently demonstrate a genuine 'spirit to serve’ community residents and guests.

Assist in coordinating a flawless move-in process for new residents at supported communities.

Prepare and distribute resident and community-related communications, updates, and related correspondence.

Ensure the dissemination of information to tenants/residents, team, building contractors, security team, etc.

Receives work order requests and reports requests to the responsible team and maintains the associated work order queue, logs, and reports.

Assist in ensuring all vacant apartments are ready for resident move-ins, scheduling and coordinating work, and completing final walk-through, including any spot cleaning needed to ensure elevated condition standards are maintained.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of mail and package rooms to include security of packages and coordination of delivery receipt notifications to residents and tenants.

Curate a sense of community by building a culture of service and creating resident engagement opportunities.

Proactively partner with leasing team members and participate in prospective resident tours.

Warmly greet all community residents and guests by name, when known, in a friendly and professional manner.

Take ownership of resident inquiries and issues and own through remedy and resolution.

Complete follow-up inquires with residents to ensure satisfaction and issue closer.

Process invoices as directed and according to established workflow.

Communicate professionally with fellow team members, residents, vendors, contractors, government offices, property management, and senior management staff.

Assist with the administration of tenant leases in compliance with lease provisions and landlord tenant best practices.

Work closely with internal team members in Resident Services and Events & Experience teams to support the planning and execution of special events for residents.

Position Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or vocational degree (required)

Two years of administrative or support services experience

Associates or bachelor’s and/or prior technical experience (preferred)

Experience in real estate or property management operations (preferred)

Ability to organize and prioritize a busy workload, work well under pressure, and switch gears quickly
