Summary: ATS Mechanical Integrity Group needs a Resident Inspector API-570 (additional API/NDT certs a plus) for direct on-site support at customer facility in New York State. The primary focus will be on mechanical equipment reliability and the inspection and assessment of tanks, vessels, piping components. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. Relocation assistance is available. Responsibilities: + Perform field inspections of industrial equipment (storage tanks, pressure vessels, and piping systems). + Generate calculations in accordance with API, ASME, STI, etc. + Generate written reports + Manage client relationships. Qualifications Requirements: + High School Diploma or Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Structural Engineering or closely related field preferred. + Must have API 570 and any additional API certs (API 510/653) preferred including NDT experience and additional NDT certs . + Must be proficient with reports, especially Excel Spreadsheets and similar formats. + Must be local to the Upstate New York or willing/able to relocate to the area. Experience: + 8-10 years’ experience in mechanical reliability, tank/vessel/piping inspections, or design and MI program management. + Plant engineering experience + Industrial inspection, operations, and maintenance experience + Process improvement experience + Strong leadership skills and ability to work unsupervised + Strong organizational skills + Ability to write reports detailing assessments and results + Experience with Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD + Ability to multi-task and work in a growing environment + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Power-point, AutoCAD All applicants require the following: + Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures. + Excellent communication skills written and verbal. + Applicants must pass a drug screen and have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. + “U.S. Persons” Only: A requirement of this position is access to information that is subject to U.S. export controls under the U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (“ITAR”).
