ResponsibilitiesACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE: Directs, oversees, and manages the nursing services provided to the residents of the community and provides care as indicated
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure the resident is at the center of every decision that is made
• Ensure compliance with State and Federal Regulations
• Ensures adoption of Diversicare policies, guidelines and standards
• Ensures all elements of the Diversicare culture are embedded in the daily operation of the community
• Partners with the resident and family to develop, coordinate and maintain the plan of care based on individual needs.
• Oversee the delivery of care to ensure emotional, physical, psychological and safety needs are identified and met
• Ensure program services and activities meet the satisfaction of the residents, families, physicians and other partners
• Provides resident care
• Completes and updates resident assessments/evaluations to determine levels of care
• Manages and coordinates the nursing team members
• Collaborates with the Executive Director to ensure an effective Workforce Management Program is in place including but not limited to timely performance management; recruitment; retention; onboarding; orientation; training and Team Member engagement.
• In collaboration with the Executive Director, effective stewardship is in place to meet budgetary commitments.
• Seeks assistance and works collaboratively with Regional and BSC Support Teams
• Other duties as assigned by Executive Director or DNS
Qualifications
• RN licensure
• Experience in the Assisted Living setting
• Demonstrated ability to manage team performance in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated strength in communication, organization, planning and management.
