We are looking for a Resident Assistant to join our team in Welch, MN! This position would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior assisted living memory care patient's physical and emotional well-being. This direct care schedule includes;

40 hours every two weeksPart time, Overnight (NOC) shift; 10:15 PM - 6:15AMIncludes every other weekend and holiday rotationPartial Benefit Eligible: (paid time off, matching retirment monies. The Prairie Island Indian Community, a federally recognized Mdewakanton Dakota Tribe, developed Tinta Wita Tipi- an assisted living lodge to serve all seniors by bringing together aging residents from the surrounding communities.  Tinta Wita Tipi wishes to celebrate its Dakota and community elders through honor, care and respect while encouraging family involvement. This newer 20 unit, beautifully designed single-story assisted living is located on 18 acres of tribal land in Welch, MN near Highway 61 not far from Farmington, Red Wing, or Hastings.  Managed by Ebenezer, our staff is local and believes in Ebenezer’s mission to heal, discover, and educate for longer healthier, meaningful lives.

Responsibilities/Job Description Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staffAssists with onboarding of new staff Qualifications Required:Ability to communicate effectively, with compassion and patience for residents and coworkers while working in a team setting.Curiosity to work with a diverse and older populationCNA certificate required if under 18Preferred:High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal NA/CNA or HHA or PCA course Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareEmail this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
