As a Resident Activities Associate at VillageCare, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a diverse range of activities for our residents, both within our residence and in the local community. Your primary objective will be to create an enriching environment that fosters strong family connections, friendships, and engagement in recreational and social pursuits. You will be responsible for ensuring that our recreation program complies with Department of Health regulations and meets the unique needs and interests of our residents. From organizing off-site excursions to facilitating in-house leisure programs, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the quality of life for our residents.\n

By utilizing your strong organizational skills and attention to detail, you will help maintain a vibrant calendar of activities and ensure that our recreational spaces are well-equipped and welcoming. To excel in this role, candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or a High School Diploma or GED (required). Additionally, a minimum of 3 years of experience working with residents in a similar facility is essential to succeed in this role. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for engaging with residents and coordinating activities effectively. Attention to detail and the ability to plan and execute diverse recreational programs are key to ensuring a vibrant and fulfilling resident experience. Proficiency in computer applications such as spreadsheets, word processing, and database software will be necessary for managing activity schedules and volunteer coordination.\n
