Residence ManagerISS Côte d'Azur (Nice) Mid-May to 9 August 2025  Are you bold, confident and charismatic? And do you thrive in an entrepreneurial, dynamic, and busy environment? Then this might be the job for you! As Residence Manager, you assume overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Côte d’Azur Junior Residence. This is a live-in position under the supervision of the Summer Campus Manager.  The Residence Manager provides oversight, management, and training to Residence Advisors. Other duties include assisting with program schedule and organization, activity development, student discipline, and stock management.  Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Manage and train the Junior Campus staff, including Course leaders and Residence Advisors. Plan and supervise staff hours and hold weekly staff meetings.Ensure the Junior Residence is set-up (branding, stock, etc.) prior to student and staff arrivals.Assist in the planning of student arrivals and departures, as well as special events such as orientations and graduation ceremonies.Liaise on a day-to-day basis with the Host Family Coordinator and the Summer Campus Manager to ensure the students’ wellbeing and satisfaction. Handle student discipline and behavior concerns. Liaise with our Sales Offices to address students’ welfare and disciplinary issues. Be available to work late nights for some events, such as arrivals, departures, and to assist with emergency situations should they arrive.Share emergency phone duties assigned to senior staff members.  What will you take away?After a summer of working as an EF Residence Manager, you will enhance your management knowledge and experience by working with an international team. You will be a proven leader, adaptable and capable of solving various issues without hesitation while working under pressure. The international and busy environment will fine tune your communication skills as well as organizational and planning skills. What is required?You are fluent in French (C2) and English (B2) and have experience working with young people and/or with international students. To be successful in this role you need to be a leader and a team player. You must be able to perform under pressure and be passionate about keeping the quality that EF and our students expect. Communication and empathy should come naturally to you. You must be able to work independently and lead a team with little oversight from a manager. You should be passionate about customer service and providing quality.
