What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Reservations Trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in hotel reservations management while developing essential skills in customer service, revenue management, and operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Reservation Handling: Shadow and assist in booking processes, ensuring accuracy and seamless guest experiences.Guest Communication: Learn to manage reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online travel agencies (OTAs) such as Booking.com and Expedia.System Management: Get trained in Opera (PMS) and Reserve Reservation System, mastering profile management, updating reservations, and handling group/corporate rates.Payment Revenue Control: Assist in reviewing payments, handling credit card rejections, and ensuring correct rate application.Daily Weekly Operations: Support the team in checking overbookings, long stays, special requests, and reconfirming reservations.Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Front Office to align guest reservations with operational needs.Process Improvement: Learn standard operating procedures (SOPs) and contribute ideas for optimization.Kickstart Your Career with a Full-Time Internship at Grand Hyatt Barcelona
