Reservations Manager
Overview

Hire Resolve’s client, a luxury hotel based in Cape Town, is seeking an experienced Reservations Manager to join their team. The Reservations Manager will oversee the reservations department and ensure the smooth processing of guest bookings and inquiries.

 

Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the reservations team to ensure optimal performance and service standards Coordinate and manage the reservations process, including confirming bookings and handling cancellations Develop and implement reservations policies and procedures to enhance guest experience Monitor and analyse booking patterns and trends to optimize room occupancy and revenue Communicate with guests regarding reservations, inquiries, and special requests Collaborate with other departments such as front office and sales to ensure efficient operations Address and resolve guest complaints or issues related to reservations Prepare reports and provide insights on reservation metrics and performance

Requirements:
Experience as a Reservations Management or Assistant Reservations Manager Strong understanding of hotel software solutions Working knowledge of Opera and their functionalities Working knowledge of SynXis & Travel Click Channel Manager Ms Word, Outlook and Excel. Hotel School Diploma as an added advantage Experience in the hospitality industry is highly preferred Benefits:
