Job Description

Research Technologists II for Chicago, IL location. Conducts experimental research lab work. Assists in design of one or more specific phase(s) of entire project(s). Completes mathematical calculations, computer tasks, assists in judging validity of data. Follows appropriate protocols, policies, procedures, regulations, good clinical & laboratory practices. Duties include: Cell culture work, IHC/IF staining, cloning, biochemical processes and techniques necessary for buffers preparation, Western-blot, qRT-PCR, Protein and RNA extraction.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry or related field plus 1 year of experience in health science/research lab required. Required Skills: Education or experience must include: Cell culture work; IHC/IF staining; Cloning; Knowledge on biochemical processes and techniques necessary for buffers preparation. Experience must include: Western-blot, qRT-PCR, Protein and RNA extraction. Background check and drug screen required. $56,368/yr- $62,878/yr.
