The Research Teaching Specialist IV is responsible for supporting research that focuses on understanding and promoting health-related behaviors among individuals with cancer and those at risk for cancer, under the direction of the Program Manager of the Shared Resource and the Qualitative Research Scientific Director.
Among the key duties for this position are the following:
As directed, creates a user-friendly system for study tracking and data entry using already-developed systems. Participates in phone, electronic, and in-person communications and meetings with study staff. As directed, recruits and contacts study participants by telephone, online, or in-person. As directed, collects research data off-site or online, including but not limited to surveys, interviews, field observations, focus groups, and online forums. As directed, provides support in data processing, storage, organizing, and preparing data for qualitative analyses. Reviews, codes, and analyzes data with research team. Position Status Part Time Hours Per Week up to 14 hours per week Daily Work Shift Work Arrangement This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.
