About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Immunologist with extensive drug discovery experience in autoimmune diseases to lead innovative discovery programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong immunology research background, a proven track record in drug discovery, and demonstrated leadership in program and team management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and drive drug discovery programs focused on autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.Develop and execute scientific strategies to identify and validate novel therapeutic targets.Provide mechanistic insights to support lead optimization, biomarker discovery, and translational approaches.Contribute to portfolio decision-making by evaluating target feasibility, organizing studies and generating key data package.Collaborate cross-functionally with medicinal chemistry, bioinformatics, in vivo pharmacology, and clinical teams.Stay current with emerging scientific advancements and industry trends to maintain competitive drug discovery strategies.

Qualifications

PhD in Immunology, Pharmacology, or a related field with 2+ years of industry experience in autoimmune disease drug discovery.Strong expertise in immune mechanisms underlying autoimmune diseases and their therapeutic targeting.Proven success in drug discovery, from target validation to lead optimization and candidate drug nomination.Excellent leadership skills with experience driving drug discovery programs.Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, influencing strategy and decision-making.Strong communication skills to effectively interact with teams.Cutting-edge science and innovative science leader, leveraging the latest advancements to drive impactful discoveries.

Experience working with small-molecule drug discovery6+ years of industry experience

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$133,000.00 - $209,000.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. 

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
