Job Requirements REQUIRED: Ph.D. in Robotics; at least one year of postdoctoral training; at least four years of experience as an academic researcher in probabilistic inference, real-time mapping, and active perception or planning; expertise in probabilistic inference, real-time mapping, and active perception or planning, applied to robotics and autonomy; ability to implement and deploy perception and navigation algorithms on real robots; a proven record of methodological innovation and rigorous analysis in areas of expertise, supported by publications in leading international conferences and journals; robust passion for robotics and autonomy; ability to motivate and supervise multiple people, including graduate students at the SM and PhD levels, in a multi-disciplinary environment; ability to interface with sponsors and manage confidential information or issues using discretion; and excellent project management and organizational skills.
