Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Research Lab Technician. - Boca Raton, FL.

Summary of responsibilities include:

Conducts experiments on plants, pollinators, and microbes. This involves field work collecting plants, microbial culturing, microscopy, and maintains explicit and accurate records of performed experiments and data.

Assists with other experimental and lab related duties as required.

Assists in developing and implementing written policies and procedures for training, and assures resources and documentation are available for lab members on shared repositories.

Performs laboratory maintenance, assists with ordering laboratory equipment and supplies, maintains common stocks, helps to maintain a collaborative, clean, and safe workplace in compliance with Federal, State, and University regulations. 

Orally presents results of research and engages in discussion within the lab and community.
