Job Summary

The Sztain lab (https://pharmacy.umich.edu/sztainlab) at the University of Michigan is seeking a Research Fellow / Laboratory Manager to carry out biochemistry research in conjunction with our computer-aided molecular design group.

What You'll Do

The selected candidate will perform and manage biochemistry experiments. These will support a number of ongoing research projects related to computer-aided drug design and protein engineering. Experiments include protein expression, purification, assays, and solution-state protein NMR. Responsibilities include maintaining inventorying, ordering reagents, conducting research, presenting and publishing results, mentoring students, and upholding laboratory safety protocols.
