The SCALE initiative works to equalize and improve educational opportunities for students by supporting implementation of the most promising educational practices. This position will provide data support for several fast-paced research projects within the SCALE Initiative, including National Student Support Accelerator research projects.** **_This position is a 1-year fixed term appointment based on Stanford University’s main campus. Interested_** **_candidates should include a resume and cover letter describing why they are interested in this position at this stage in their career._** **What You’ll Do:** **The Research & Data Coordinator will be responsible for supporting research-related administrative and operational work. Reporting to the Director of Research, this individual will take part in study implementation, namely data collection, quality assurance of data, and reporting. Data collection activities will consist primarily of interviews, as well as surveys and secondary data. The individual will engage with external stakeholders as part of multiple research partnerships. The position requires independent work to meet competing deadlines well as collaboration with the Research Team. Candidates must have a demonstrated ability to support a community of diverse perspectives and cultures in an inclusive environment.** **Core duties will include:** + **Support the collection, management, and cleaning of data, including interview data.** + **Design and customize reports based upon data in the database. Support the oversight and monitoring of regulatory compliance for utilization of the data.** + **Contribute to the overall research program, including support and oversight of IRBs and DUAs and supporting the organizing, writing and reporting on grants.** + **Assist with the development and design of research findings for written reports to internal and external stakeholders.** + **Conduct literature searches, and write literature summaries and manuscripts, as requested by the Director of Research and/or Faculty Lead.** + **Employ new and existing tools to interpret, analyze, and visualize relationships in data.** + **Create databases and reports and perform analyses appropriate to data and reporting requirements, as requested by the Director of Research and/or Faculty Lead.
