Research Compliance Analyst
Johnson Service Group, is hiring a Compliance Analyst. This role plays a vital role in supporting our clients commitment to ethical and regulatory compliance ensuring adherence to NIH regulations, export control laws, and other applicable policies.The Compliance Analyst works closely with researchers, administrators, and institutional leadership to promote a culture of compliance, safeguarding the integrity of research activities and maintaining the institution’s eligibility for funding.

Direct hire opportunity | Onsite | $85K $125K Based on experience.

Responsibilities: •    Ensure compliance with NIH regulations, export control laws, and other applicable policies across research projects.
•    Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures related to research compliance, including conflict-of-interest management and research security.
•    Review and evaluate research activities to identify potential compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
•    Provide training and guidance to researchers and staff on compliance-related topics, including NIH standards and export control laws.
•    Conduct audits and reviews of research practices to ensure adherence to institutional and federal guidelines.
•    Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address and resolve compliance issues.
•    Stay informed on emerging compliance requirements and best practices in the research and academic sectors.

Minimum Qualifications:
•    At least 3 years of experience in administration at an academic research institute or university.
•    Experience in sponsored research or research compliance; familiarity with conflict-of-interest management, export control laws, and research security is preferred.
•    Demonstrated ability to understand research activities and learn/apply relevant laws and policies.
•    Familiarity with export control laws.
•    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a willingness to learn and implement new subject matter.
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills with effective interpersonal abilities.
