The department of Neurosurgery is seeking a Research Associate to perform specialized research, collect data, and perform advanced statistical analysis under the direct supervision of the PI. The Research Associate will assist with the preparation of grant applications, reports and scientific manuscripts as requested, as well as with mentorship of junior lab members.
Among the key duties of this position are the following: Support PI by performing various advanced technical procedures. Keeps detailed records of the procedures to maintain compliance with local regulations. Provides the research team with organized documentation of the procedures, data, and outcomes. As directed, performs various research operations relative to ongoing investigatory activities; may assist in conducting specialized research phase of a project. Performs experiments independently or as assigned, followed by appropriate reports, recommendations, and conclusions. Participates in the development of a data collection and analysis pipeline for direct-brain recordings in neurosurgical patients, including the direct oversight of PhD students and postdocs role in the pipeline. Position Status Full Time Hours Per Week Daily Work Shift Work Arrangement This position requires a fully on-site work arrangement.
