Systemic Bio is a 3D Systems subsidiary based in Houston, TX, focused on the development of human vascularized organ and disease models to be used for drug discovery and development. Founded in August 2022 with a $15M seed investment from its parent company, Systemic Bio is using its proprietary bioprinting and organ-on-a-chip technology to accelerate drug development timelines, increase clinical trial success rates, and eventually put an end to animal testing. We are looking for talented researchers who are strong problem solvers to join our team. As a Research Associate, you will: * Work with the Systemic Bio team to develop and test new productspertaining toour organ-on-a-chip platform * Test and improve product workflows * Run cell-based experiments thatvalidatethe function of organs and diseases developed with our technology Our values We are innovators at the forefront of bioprinting and organ-on-a-chip technology. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in biology,bioengineeringor relevant area of scientific research; * Experience with design, execution, and analysis of diverse cell biology and tissue engineering experiments; * Strong written and verbal communication skills; * Extensive experience documenting, analyzing, interpreting experimental data; * Excellent organizational skills; * Experience with 3D bioprintingpreferred, butnotrequired.
