Research Associate
Description As a key member of our dynamic Cancer Immunology team, you will have proven expertise in: + Tissue culture of multiple cancer cell lines simultaneously to support experimental efforts. + Experience in immune cell culture and functional assays, such as T cell proliferation, suppression, killing, antigen presentation, and/or phagocytosis assays to support target identification and validation efforts. + Flow cytometry, including cell staining, processing, and data analysis. + Ex vivo experiments, including murine tissue collection, dissociation, and processing for downstream applications. + Data analysis and lab note documentation. + Work independently and collaboratively with team members. + Participate in routine lab and equipment maintenance. + Excellent team member, collaborator, and communicator Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Science with 3+ years of experience in a cell biology/cellular assay development role. Title will be adjusted according to experience. + Deep expertise with mammalian cell culture across various cell types (primary and immortalized) and growth conditions. Demonstrated experience handling (maintaining, passaging, plating) multiple cell lines at once. + Immuno-oncology-related in vitro assays experience. + Hands-on experience with a wide range of cellular assay techniques (including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry, Western Blot, MSD, qPCR) suitable for target identification and/or compound characterization. + Highly organized and excellent record keeping skills. + Innovative, proactive team-players who will thrive in our fast-paced drug discovery and development environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
