What we want The Research Associate will conduct various cell biology and mo lecular biology assays as well as mouse studies to determine the effects of experimental therapies on me tastatic breast cancer. Required Education and Experience + Bachelor’s degree in a biology-related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience + Two years of breast cancer research experience to include experience with breast cancer cell lines and mouse models Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities + Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing + Ability to positively and professionally interact with supervisor and colleagues + Excellent communication and presentation skills + Strong interpersonal and organizational skills + Proficiency with molecular and cellular assays in metastatic breast cancer + Ability to conduct mouse experiments + Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others *The well-qualified candidate will also possess a Master's degree in cancer biology from an accredited college or university, and two years of wet-lab experience in studying the efficacy of cancer therapy. ​ Responsibilities + Conducts Experiments for Assigned Research Projects: Conducts research-related projects in cancer biology and treatment. Documents experimental procedures and data. Analyzes and interprets experimental data. Prepares manuscripts for publications. + Provides Training to Research Assistants and Graduate Students: Provides technical training to research assistants and graduate students.
