Hours may vary dependent on discussion with supervisor. Job Summary The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment department of Entomology seeks a Research Associate. The Research Associate position is in the lab under the direction of Dr. S. Reddy Palli. Palli lab’s primary research focuses on developing vector control methods using biotechnology approaches. RNA interference technology is being used to develop methods to control economically important insects. These approaches will reduce the use of chemical insecticides that are harmful to humans and other animals in the ecosystem. The Research Associate will design experiments, conduct research, analyze data, and prepare them to present at scientific meetings and publish in scientific journals. The Research Associate will also supervise undergraduate students in conducting research
