Job Summary Contributes to patients overall research experience; with principal investigator oversight, may enroll participants, collects and documents data from patient records/surveys, and manages research specimens; provides administrative support to research teams. Essential Functions + Supports the research team (PI and research personnel) and ancillary departments; supports the research process; contributes to the patients’ overall research experience. + May screen, consent, and enroll subjects on research studies with low regulatory-, clinical-, and operational complexity. + Conducts surveys; abstracts or otherwise collects, documents, de-identifies, and enters data; compiles reports. + Collects, processes, and ships research specimens; assists with test article accountability. + Supports team and research leadership with various administrative duties (e.g. schedules patient visits, team meetings, filing, performs patient follow-up calls, prepares and manages research documents, assists with patient navigation, etc.). Qualifications Required + Associate's Degree or equivalent in a health, science, business or computer related field. + CRT-Shipping and Handling of Specimen Training-Certification - 90 Days + CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days Or + CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days Preferred + 1 year of relevant experience with medical records data extraction + 2 years of relevant experience with patients in a clinical setting About Corewell Health As a team member at Corewell Health, you will play an essential role in delivering personalized health care to our patients, members and our communities.
