Seeking a highly organized, reliable, clinically savvy, and creative research assistant to assist with the implementation and administration of a forthcoming multisite comparative effectiveness randomized clinical trial (RCT) across three VA Healthcare Systems. Duties include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Implement project procedures including, but not limited to, ensuring study protocols are followed, working with Dr. Iverson and the research team at VA Boston and other sites.
Maintain research databases, perform administrative tasks such as schedule meetings and taking notes in interview or meetings, and assist with compiling, drafting, and submitting IRB and other required documentation to meet research compliance standards or funding requirements.
Assist in data collection activities, including recruiting and making screening calls to participants, assisting with preparing and tracking study related mailings and outreach, preparing and ensuring participants receive complete baseline and follow-up assessments, processing participant incentive payments, and supporting and communicating with research participants via mail, e-mail, telephone, videoconferencing.
Conduct literature searches and/or main reference databases to support project goals and planning. Review and edit reports, presentations, and manuscripts, including the development of data tables and visual graph and chart representations of study findings
