Key Accountabilities/Core Job Responsibilities:
Routinely conduct (hands-on) bioanalysis and DMPK studies Analyze data and maintain detailed, accurate and comprehensible study documentation Interpretation of in vitro data derived from assays for internal review and external partners Perform data analysis using GraphPad Prism Follow University safety protocols (may include use of combustibles, biohazardous materials and fluids/tissues). Perform calculations involving molarity, % solutions, and serial dilutions. Operate and maintain high-throughput, semi-automated analytical instruments Assist with general laboratory operations, including ordering supplies and consumables Perform other duties as assigned; assist DMPK lab members with miscellaneous tasks. Help maintain the instruments.Education and Experience Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a relevant field and ≥ 2 years laboratory experience in enzymology, biochemistry, or molecular biology
Qualifications:
The candidate must have experience in mass spectrometry The scientist must have experience in assay design, troubleshooting, and data analysis. Experience with LC-MS/MS is preferred and any knowledge of small molecule drug discovery processes and experience in a discovery project is a bonus. Excellent ability to work well with others for both team and individualized activities Good written and verbal communication skills
