The Research Analyst conducts differentiated research on companies in the Metals & Mining sector and provide valuable insights and recommendations for targeted institutional investors. The successful candidate will be able to perform in-depth financial analysis, complex modelling, industry research, valuation and coordination with the Global Metals and Mining teams. The aim is to develop differentiated investment theses for the assigned coverage and produce valued added Research for institutional investors. This will require basic commercial awareness and having an elevated level of subject matter expertise in the sector Highly developed communication skills and diplomacy are required in order to guide, influence and convince clients as to the analyst's recommendations. This is a front-end role whose ultimate goal is to be a consistently highly ranked subject matter expert in the Metals and Mining sector.
