Location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. This position is part of our Safety Business Unit, which aims to enable safer, greener and more inclusive industries and transportation systems.

Tasks and responsibilities

Carrying out development work on systems/assemblies/devices within the framework of specified processes and procedures.

Carrying out development of systems/assemblies/devices and providing technical support, as well as coordination (in terms of content and time) with the specialist departments

Carrying out simple analyses to support the design work using existing methods

Operational management of Air & Thermal System validation and verification in the context of the A350 & SA incremental developments, RnT and ZEROe Programs

Supporting the Air $ Thermal Systems V&V strategy

Supporting the Air & Thermal system designer community with RBE

Elaborating and validation of V&V plans

Validating requirement means of compliance proposed by the Air & thermal system community

Drumbeat the requirement V&V completion

Collaboration in the creation of offers and company presentations

Taking on functional and/or project-related tasks in projects (e.g. technical project planning, topic responsibility)

Creation of required documentation, coordination of detailed solutions with other departments and internal/external interfaces

Required qualification
The work task requires knowledge and skills that are usually acquired through a relevant, completed course of study with a standard period of study of up to 4 years in the area of aeronautical engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalant.  The overall knowledge and experience required may have been acquired in other ways.

First experience in the field of Air Systems

First experience with aircraft system design and developement processes

Knowledge of project management and requiments management

Knowledge of risk and opportunity management and stakeholder
management

Target-oriented with analytic problem-solving skills

Willing to learn new things

Team player, organized and autonomous person with good communication skills

Very good written and spoken English and German (B2)

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
