Your New Role…
The Representative, Mass Sales is responsible for assisting in managing accounts and activating sales programs for DC’s comics and graphic novels in the Mass channel market globally (including key retailer accounts.)
Your Role Accountabilities...
Account Management:
• Support day-to-day communication with distribution partners for Mass channel accounts and help drive account-specific sales plan executions, including premium placement of priority titles and sell-in of new publishing initiatives, selling of exclusive skus or editions, establishing sales promotions, and in-store activities.
Solicitation Management:
• Assist Manager, Book & Mass Sales to develop individual Title Information (TI) Sheets that provide core metadata, key selling points, and provide marketing summaries for every DC graphic novel release. Work with key internal stakeholders who assist in development of TI Sheets, ensuring timely delivery of finished work.
• Work with the Publishing Operations team to ensure timely input of metadata and delivery of assets to distribution partners for each title release.
• Liaise with the Editorial team to understand publishing events and communicate key selling points to distribution partners and key retail accounts.
• Ensure key timelines for distributing titles are communicated to internal stakeholders and ensure TI sheets and other key metadata are updated into their systems.
• Manage title ad hoc metadata updates including but not limited to metadata requests, title drop-ins and cancellations, title blocks, roll-overs, title ad hoc metadata auditing/remediation – weekly, monthly, yearly; title series.
• Final audit and asset tracking/management of final covers.
Sales Communication Materials & Presentations:
• Develop presentation decks (interior spreads and pages, selling points, scripts) for launches and sales conferences.
• Design sell sheets, title lists, graphic materials, and presentation slides as needed; ensure mock ups are provided to creative services.
Sales Reporting:
• Update and present weekly sales tracking for results in key accounts worldwide, including key title performance and post-mortem analyses on key sales promotions and initiatives for Mass Accounts.
• Assist the Manager, Book & Mass Sales by gathering sales data and results that help to track KPIs against sales goals and priorities.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience…
Work Experience:
• At least four (4) years of relevant work experience in account management, sales, marketing, publishing, or operations required.
• Experience in publishing, retail sales, data analysis, and/or market research preferred.
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
• Master’s degree (MBA or MFA) is a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
• Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully (both verbally and in writing) with individuals at all levels of the organization and with external partners.
• Must be able to organize effectively and pay close attention to details.
• Must be able to work well under time constraints, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks and project elements simultaneously.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat required.
• Knowledge of publishing/comic book industry preferred.
Other Requirements:
• Must be able to travel as needed approximately 10% of the time.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $45,500.00 - $84,500.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
