Representative, Direct Sales

General Summary

Rise Broadband is seeking motivated and energetic Direct Sales Representatives to expand our customer base by selling high-speed internet and additional home connectivity services directly to residential customers. This role involves door-to-door sales, contributing to the growth of both single-family homes and multi-dwelling units (MDUs), engaging with homeowners to promote our broad range of services, including internet, home phone, and other potential offerings. As we continue to grow, new key performance indicators (KPIs) may be introduced that require representatives to sell additional products or services. 

As a Direct Sales Representative, you'll be working outdoors, going from home to home, actively engaging with potential customers, and building strong relationships to drive sales. You'll collaborate closely with your team leader and fellow sales representatives to refine sales techniques and improve performance. 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

Prospect and engage with residential customers, promoting Rise Broadband’s industry-leading internet services, home phone, and other connectivity solutions. Build and maintain a strong lead pipeline through direct door-to-door interactions, follow-ups via phone, text, and email. Update customer records in the CRM system with relevant details, including conversion status and notes. Partner with teams to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience from sale to installation. Clearly communicate the value of all Rise Broadband services, including speed, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and bundled solutions. Demonstrate knowledge of Rise Broadband’s network and service coverage, including both single-family homes and MDUs, to answer customer questions and address concerns. Adapt to new performance expectations (KPIs) as the business evolves, ensuring success in selling both core and additional services. Performs other duties as assigned.   

Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred. Experience in internet service provider (ISP) or telecommunications sales. Ability to walk long distances and climb stairs throughout the workday while engaging with customers. Strong communication, decision-making, problem-solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Proven experience in door-to-door sales, direct sales, or related field. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills and proficiency in using CRM software. Proficiency in Salesforce or other lead management software preferred. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to visit different residential areas. Ability to pass a motor vehicle record (MVR) check that meets company standards. Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus. 

Working Conditions

Employee remains in the sitting position for prolonged hours. Employee is required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear on a regular basis. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.  Working conditions may include being in an open (shared) cubicle/workspace area.
