Reporting Data Manager
Reporting Data Manager This position assists in the development of business requirements and works closely with Technology and the Chief Data and Analysis office to ensure the inclusivity of critical data elements for Regulatory Reporting. The role is responsible for establishing and maintaining data requirements that provide reference to reporting guidance including data quality rules and strategic configuration. This position will provide continual support and assist the Regulatory Reporting team with the investigation of data issues/variances. Position Responsibilities: * Understand and develop data requirements process aligned with regulatory reporting guidance. This includes alignment with the overarching strategy and uses, oversight of required transformations and understanding the structure of financial data across the existing and future Regulatory Reports. * Assist the Finance Transformation team in collaborating with Chief Data and Analytics Officer in designing data architecture to provide the information needed for all regulatory reporting responsibilities of the Corporation, including large scale transformational Finance projects (i.e., EPS project) and data demand. * Continuously enhance and drive accountability of the critical data elements used for regulatory reporting including collaboration with various stakeholders across business and functional areas of the bank to interpret, operationalize and implement regulatory reporting data requirements process. * Support the enhancement of data quality rules for identified critical data elements (CDE). Serves as point of contact for consultation and documentation regarding regulatory disclosure issues, including data implementation and consumption for the Enhanced * Prudential Standards and processes for applicable reports. * Research and consult on complex reporting issues and respond to requests for information and support on reporting data inconsistencies and issues. * Manage and develop staff.
