Requirements
Degree in accounting or internal auditing A minimum of three years’ experience in auditing Knowledge of general accounting procedures and principles Good organisational skills and understanding of financial monitoring and administration and accounting systems Advanced Excel Skills Willing to travel to regional (Dakar, Addis, Nairobi)
Overview of duties
Design and implement an annual work plan to ensure reliable control systems, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and effective record keeping Execute testing, investigate policy violations, provide structured reports, maintain a compliance risk register, and implement a compliance communication programme Review contracts in collaboration with Finance management, track corrections, and ensure accurate reporting Compile financial reports with explanations for significant variances Compile monthly reports with balance sheet reconciliations Handle VAT, employee tax and corporate tax
