Summary
Safely and accurately operate a front-end loader at our asphalt plant and ensure the plant has a steady supply of aggregate, sand, and other products to produce quality asphalt mixes
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Responsible for adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
+ Operate front-end loader, load materials into plant feed bins, and load trucks with material.
+ Communicate with plant foreman and truck drivers to ensure efficiency.
+ Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections on the Asphalt Plant and Equipment.
+ Additional duties/responsibilities as defined by supervisor.
Qualifications
+ High school diploma or (GED)
+ Two (2) years of heavy equipment operating experience preferred
+ Good attitude, effectively working in a team environment
+ Ability to thrive, learn, and retain knowledge in a fast-paced environment
+ Self-motivated; ability to work independently
+ Ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions
+ Physical requirements: Heavy lifting, climb ladders, shoveling/plant cleanup, and etc.
+ Ability to safely work from heights when needed
+ Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and unexpected longer hours when necessary
