As the repairman, you will assist our technicians with performing routine and emergency maintenance on piping systems, and ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations.

What You’ll Do

As the repairman, you will assist our technicians with performing routine and emergency maintenance on piping systems, and ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations. Other duties include:

Assist Tech A and Tech B in performing maintenance tasks. Assists in planning jobs and preparing parts lists for repairs. Install gaskets, packing, pipe supports, and other components as needed. Test, inspect, dismantle, repair, replace, or install high and low-pressure piping, fittings, and fixtures for various systems, including air, water, steam, oil, gas, acid, ammonia, ammonium nitrate, and urea. Apply basic insulation practices. Adhere to plant safety rules and procedures, and have a basic understanding of plant operations and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS). Performs all work within plant safety rules and procedures

Requirements:

Previous experience with welding procedures is preferred but not required Previous maintenance experience and a strong understanding of various maintenance tools and practices preferred. Proficiency in using maintenance hand tools and understanding their proper use. Basic knowledge of insulation practices. Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and assist other technicians as needed. Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to various tasks as needed. Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
