**Job Title: Repair Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Repair and Overhaul Technician to perform teardowns, overhauls, and functional testing of various repair station products and items. The ideal candidate will ensure that all repair work is conducted according to procedures and correct document revisions, assist in the development and implementation of product improvement initiatives, and maintain a high standard of documentation and regulatory compliance.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform teardowns, overhauls, and functional testing of various repair station products and items.
+ Ensure all repair work is performed according to procedures and correct document revisions.
+ Assist in the development and implementation of product improvement initiatives.
+ Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair shop equipment as required.
+ Complete necessary training to maintain knowledge and skills required for job performance.
+ Document all repairs and re-certifications of equipment according to regulatory, customer, and departmental requirements.
+ Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
+ Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance, and be available to work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and additional hours as necessary.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in repair and overhaul, with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly at the component level.
+ A minimum of 3 years of experience in troubleshooting and repair.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience in a repair station environment governed by FAA regulations.

The position is based in a repair station environment governed by FAA regulations. The role may require working nights, weekends, and variable schedules. Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simi Valley, California
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00
