Job Title: Repair Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining eye equipment, including auto refractors, instrument lamps, and hydraulic chairs. You will work primarily in our shop, utilizing various hand and power tools. Additionally, you will deliver and install repaired equipment at customer locations. This position offers flexibility in your schedule and opportunities for overtime.

ResponsibilitiesRepair and maintain eye equipment, such as auto refractors, instrument lamps, and hydraulic chairs.Use hand and power tools, including drill press, wrenches, band saws, multimeters, and soldering irons, to perform mechanical assembly and repairs.Drive a company van and 24-foot box truck to deliver and install repaired equipment at customer locations.Handle FedEx shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading trucks.Operate pallet jacks and dollies to move heavy products.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with repairs.Basic computer knowledge for data entry and troubleshooting.Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.Willingness to learn and adapt to new repair techniques.Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with soldering and electronics.Ability to lift and move heavy equipment using dollies and team lifts.CDL driver’s license is a plus.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a clean and organized shop with around 7 employees. The shop is equipped with all necessary tools and eye equipment. Enjoy a flexible schedule with the possibility of overtime. Occasionally travel for deliveries and installations, with all expenses covered by the company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $58240.00
