The Ski Rental Manager oversees all aspects of the ski rental operations in accordance with corporate policy. This role involves leading a dedicated staff to deliver outstanding guest service while managing the rental of alpine skis, snowboards, and associated products. Come work and play at Seattleās home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour from Seattle, at the junction where the Pacific Crest Trail crosses Interstate 90. With summer activities ramping up with spectacular Mountain Biking trails and Scenic Lift Rides, there is lots to do all year long. Responsibilities Job duties may include, but are not limited to: Directly manage and supervise all rental shop operations to ensure efficiency and an excellent guest experience. Maintain a high level of visual presentation in accordance with property standards producing a clean, safe and fun atmosphere for guests and employees. Analyze daily operations to improve staffing levels, working conditions, and overall guest service quality enhance revenue. Establish departmental standards and objectives while overseeing budgetary and staffing processes for effective and efficient departmental performance. Monitor and evaluate departmental performance to plan for both short-term and long-term strategies. Assess strengths and weaknesses in operations to implement improvements and optimize resource allocation. Qualifications What we are looking for: Familiarity with advanced ski and snowboard repair and boot fitting techniques. Highly motivated individual with excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Experience handling high volumes of cash and retail transactions. Required. Wage and Benefit Info: The wage range for this positions is: from $27.00 to $32.00/hr (DOE) This is a non-benefited role. All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff). All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
