Remote Solution Engineer - INTL India
Job Description Insight Global is seeking an INTL Solution Engineer (India) to support a Fortune 100 retail pharmacy company. The Solution Engineer is responsible for designing business solutions for key strategic initiatives, focusing on creating comprehensive architectures. This role involves collaboration with Business, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Engineering teams to develop solution architectures and runways. Additionally, the Solution Engineer will provide leadership and guidance to Application Development teams, creating reference architectures for cloud-native applications aimed at refactoring and optimization. This hands-on leader will address technical challenges and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards. Designs and develops IT architecture (integrated process, applications, data and technology) solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. Performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develops specifications for new products/services, applications and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies. What you will do: -Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design and develop workable technology solutions that align with business goals, technical specifications, and architectural principles. -Drive solutions from inception through end-of-life, by partnering with domain engineers and architects who are intimately familiar with the application architectures within their specific domain. -Will be responsible to provide high-level estimates and review detailed estimates for the work coming out of the business unit. -Work closely with engineers to help close tech debt gaps on applications in the specific business unit. -Evaluates new technologies, frameworks, and tools to determine their suitability for the organization's architectural needs. -Contributes to the development of reusable architectural components, frameworks, or reference architectures by identifying opportunities for improving architectural processes, methodologies, and tools. -Creates and maintains architectural documentation, including architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and design documents. -Ensures consistency of tools and technologies within the business unit, in alignment with the recommendations from the Reference Architecture team. -Reviews and ensures that architectural solutions comply with governance frameworks, security requirements, and industry regulations. -Provides technical expertise and guidance to development teams, architects, and stakeholders by helping drive technical decisions, resolving architectural challenges, and ensuring the quality and integrity of architectural solutions. Compensation: $16/hr to $20/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching. Skills and Requirements -10+ years overall IT work experience -8+ years in design/development experience in enterprise applications -8+ years experience developing in Object-Oriented programming language -2+ years of hands-on cloud implementation experience (preferably GCP) -Hands-on technologists with coding skills and proficient in modern technology stacks (Cloud, DevOps, Kafka etc.) -SME level understanding of APIs, and microservices-based architecture -Understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database technologies as well as Cloud database technologies -SME level understanding of cloud design and architecture for one or more public cloud provider (Azure, AWS, preferably GCP) to deliver large-scale distributed solutions across the full enterprise stack -SME level technical skills in the following areas: application, data, integration and, security architecture/design Experience working with technologies that work as glue between modern applications and legacy infrastructure, for example Apache Kafka -Experience in enterprise development tools and methodologies (XP, Agile) including DevSecOps and DataOps -Facilitates adoption of cloud-native/cloud-first architectures -GCP Architect cloud certification null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
