Remote Infrastructure Architect
As a Siemens Government Technologies (SGT) Professional Services Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible to install, administer and maintain Teamcenter and other Xcelerator products. This position requires prior experience installing and maintaining Teamcenter / Xcelerator, broad information technology experiences, excellent interpersonal skills and technical leadership skills.  You will be interacting directly with customers and helping them realize their PLM vision. As part of the Professional Services team, you will work with Consultants, Solution Architects, Project Managers, Industry Experts and Product Development teams to ensure project and customer success.
Responsibilities:•Deploy and maintain Teamcenter and other Siemens Xcelerator products, which includes installation and upgrade activities, as well as integration with other software applications.•Assist with the design of a Deployment Architecture taking into consideration the solution requirements and infrastructure requirements, and aligned with the customer’s IT strategy, roadmap, policies, and standards.•Defines activities to analyze, tune and monitor customer environments for optimal performance and stability for Teamcenter and Xcelerator products.•Provide advice and support for appropriate go live and post-production activities utilizing SGT’s Best Practices.•Support project management activities to control scope, cost, schedule, and quality as well as to support the customer’s adoption activities. 
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:•BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology or equivalent knowledge of PLM and information technologies or minimum of 5 to 8 years of equivalent years of experience. •Minimum 3 years of experience deploying and maintaining Teamcenter or Xcelerator products, or minimum 5 years deploying and maintaining similar products, such as Enovia, ePMD, Windchill, Aras Innovator or Agile.•Previous experience with Enterprise PLM, ERP or MES implementations and processes, specifically for the setup, maintenance and upgrades of test and production environments.•Working knowledge of the information technologies such as:  UNIX, LINUX, Windows Servers, heterogeneous network environments, virtualized hardware environments, web servers, cloud computing, automation scripting, proxy server, Active Directory, SAML, SSL, SSO, Java EE and .NET web tier, Oracle and Microsoft SQL databases.•Experience working with a team of consultants performing enterprise software deployments.•Multiple years working in a customer facing environment.•Good communication skills at various levels throughout an organization.•A self-starter with strong communication skills. 
Preferred: •Familiarity with the Department of Defense (DoD) Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide and Risk Management Framework.•CompTIA Security+ Certification.•AWS associate level certifications or higher. •Experience writing Terraform and AWS CloudFormation templates. •Experience developing DevOps solutions from scratch using tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Packer, AWS Code and related products. •Ability to build code pipelines and support deployment activities. •Ability to write scripts in Javascript, Bash, Python, or similar. •A good understanding of foundational cloud components (e.g.: VPN, Direct Connect, IAM, CloudWatch, VPC, "cross account" capabilities).•Knowledge and application of container, orchestration, and container platform technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
Travel:•Minimum 50% of work will be performed on-site at the customer’s work location – St. Louis, MO; Huntington Beach, CA and  Kent, WA. 
Security Requirements:•Candidate must be a United States Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
