ESSENTIAL TASKS: Read and follow established procedures to prepare electrodes for remelting. Efficiently set-up and turn around remelt furnaces. Operate furnaces and make necessary adjustments according to established procedures. Maintain accurate, complete, and legible logs, records, charts, etc. Able to troubleshoot basic, recurring issues. Coordinate with maintenance, instrumentation, or technical staff as needed. Follow all prescribed safety regulations. Report any and all unsafe acts or conditions. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition. Perform other duties as assigned. NON-ESSENTIAL TASKS: Operate other equipment such as saws, grinders, shot blaster, etc. Assist other remelt, maintenance, quality personnel, etc. Proven to Perform.
