WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Under the scope of the Leasing Business Unit within Santander Consumer Finance HQ, reporting to Remarketing Pricing & Channel Steering HQ Lead, the Remarketing Pricing & Channel Steering Specialist will be in charge of supporting and supervising the implementation and follow up of the Remarketing Pricing and Channel Steering guidelines, tools and processes at the different local Business Units, analyzing used car market behaviors and trends, and the performance of the local Business Units regarding Remarketing Pricing & Sales results. For doing that, the Remarketing Pricing & Channel Steering Specialist will work together with cross-functional and multicultural teams involving various business partners. The ideal candidate is a real expert in used car pricing, highly familiarized with Remarketing sales activities, automotive enthusiastic, with an analytic profile and good communication skills.
We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:
Support at the implementation and supervision of used cars pricing, channeling and stock managing guidelines, processes, tools and initiativesAnalyze used car market trends, prices, stocks and sales volumes at all European countries, sharing relevant data within the organization and providing proposals both globally and locallyMonitor local units Remarketing performance, propose actions as necessary and following up with themSupport local Remarketing teams in managing used cars pricing, deciding on best sales channel for every vehicle to be sold, monitoring used cars stocks and proposing actions as necessary and following up with themProvide with relevant insights about used cars sales prices performance and market behavior for residual values setting and portfolios assessmentsFacilitate and drive solutions across the organization; working with legal, risk, Remarketing logistics, car preparation, sales, and technology teams to prioritize, deliver solutions that align with the corporate strategyParticipate at the definition of global initiatives and projectsPush for new ideas and initiatives implementation, with a clear view of market trends, alternative scenarios and possibilitiesEXPERIENCE
3 year-experience in a similar position within used car pricing / residual value functions.EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree (undergraduate programme completed) or equivalent;SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Expert in pricing;Advanced analytical skills.
